Job Summary
Database Administrator role in Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining DBMS structures (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server), writing and optimizing SQL queries, implementing security and auditing, backup/recovery strategies, monitoring and improving performance, data migration between systems, and automation with Python/Shell/PowerShell. Requires understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR/HIPAA), scalability planning, high availability (clustering/failover), and strong collaboration with developers and IT teams. Must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field and a valid Florida driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Science
- Two (2) years minimum of professional experience
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
