Job Summary
Database Administrator - Microsoft SQL responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft SQL environments within a DBaaS platform. Collaborates with development and infrastructure teams, optimizes SQL configurations, ensures high availability, performance, and security, and drives automation for provisioning, patching, and monitoring. Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL architecture, performance tuning, and experience with automation or scripting tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell). Familiarity with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Terraform, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Git is a plus. Travel to Hamburg 1-2 times per year; flexible working hours and mobility options offered.
