Job Summary
Database Administrator role focused on hands-on SQL troubleshooting, data fixes, and supporting business-critical applications. Responsibilities include investigating and resolving application and data-related tickets, writing and executing SQL scripts for data updates and maintenance, troubleshooting production and UAT issues by analyzing data, stored procedures, and application behavior, identifying root causes and collaborating with development teams to implement solutions, supporting reporting and operational data requests across multiple business functions, modifying and maintaining stored procedures and queries, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system workflows and business rules. Ideal candidates excel at solving data-related problems, navigating complex business logic, and working with cross-functional teams in a ticket-driven environment. SQL Server experience is preferred; DBA experience is not required, and enterprise applications experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Strong SQL experience including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures
- Experience troubleshooting data issues and performing production data analysis
- Familiarity with SQL Server or similar relational database platforms
- Ability to understand and navigate complex business logic within existing systems
- Experience working in ticket-driven support or maintenance environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Java applications is a plus but not required
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications is preferred
- DBA experience is not required
