Job Summary
Database Administrator role focusing on operations, maintenance, and development for travel-data applications and backend environments. Key responsibilities include building and managing data pipelines, developing and maintaining ETL workflows, and supporting analytics on travel data models. Required skills include Python, AWS, Apache Spark, RDBMS (Postgres/ Oracle/ MySQL), SQL, Linux, shell scripting, and familiarity with data formats (CSV/XML/JSON/Avro/Parquet). Preferred experience with NiFi, Apache AirFlow, Java/Scala, EMR/Spark clusters, Hive/Iceberg SQL access, security solutions, and configuration-management processes. Requires US Citizenship and an active TS clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and onsite work in the Washington, DC area (Tyson's Corner, VA). Competitive benefits package available.
