Job Summary

Develop data architecture for the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) while converting legacy formats to modern standards like CSV, XML, and JSON. Maintain security baselines, documentation, and disaster recovery sites for surface electronic warfare and subsurface support libraries. Liaise with national organizations to incorporate new database formats and support testing, verification, and validation of data management applications. Develop Plans of Action and Milestones to support fleet requirements using Agile methodologies. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, five years of relational database experience, and DOD-8140 Cyber Security Workforce certification. 5% annual travel is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required to start
  • Five or more years of demonstrated experience with relational database management systems development with a preference for Oracle, including Simple Query Language (SQL), PL/SQL, and/or T-SQL
  • Demonstrated experience in software application/database design to support development and maintenance of the SIPR NIODB
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of software development with specific prior performance in .NET desktop & web application development
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of software development with specific prior performance Extensible Markup Language (XML) including the use of XML schemas and Extensible (XSLT) Stylesheet Language (XSLT) to support parsing and import of external data products to an Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
  • Demonstrated experience in software application/database design to support production of Subsurface EW threat libraries (i.e., SLQ-32, BLQ-10B)
  • Demonstrated experience in software application/database design to support development/maintenance of the NIODB Desktop (stand-alone
  • Candidate will require privileged access to development and production systems and must be DOD-8140 Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) Certified with specific certification of Security+ as a day one requirement

  • A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
