Job Summary
Database Administrator for BH Pulse survey database responsible for secure, compliant storage, processing, and retrieval of sensitive behavioral health and unit climate data. Manages maintenance on Microsoft SQL Server (2016 & 2019), deploys and manages SSIS packages, supports data security, de-identification, transfer and storage requirements, and assists with compliance documentation (ARMD, OMB, IRB, AHRPO). Collaborates with Software Engineer on database-related enhancements and reporting. Ensures data integrity for automated reports and comparisons against historical Army units; supports knowledge management analytics and decommissioning data handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 & 2019) including administration of production environments and deploying/managing MSSQL Server clusters
- 5+ years of experience administering production environments including SSIS packages
- Demonstrated experience working in DoD environments
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Remote position - eligible to work remotely in the USA
