Job Summary
Develop and maintain mission-critical enterprise web applications and Microsoft SQL Server databases using C# and the .NET Framework. Optimize SQL Server performance through query tuning, indexing, and stored procedures while troubleshooting production application and database issues. Design, develop, modify, test, and implement software enhancements and upgrades, ensuring high availability and reliability for real-time connection status dashboards. Utilize Azure DevOps, Git, or Team Foundation Version Control for source code management and CI/CD pipelines. Support data extraction, integration, analysis, and reporting requirements, collaborating with government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Maintain software configuration management, change documentation, and validation records for enterprise account management tools and hosted websites.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or higher)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Ten (10) or more years of experience developing and maintaining web applications using C# and the .NET Framework
- Ten (10) or more years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server databases and database-driven applications
- Experience developing software upgrades, enhancements, and application improvements
- Experience modifying, testing, and deploying application and database code
- Strong troubleshooting skills supporting production applications and database environments
- Experience optimizing SQL Server performance, including query tuning and database performance analysis
- Experience supporting data extraction, integration, reporting, and analytical requirements
- Experience maintaining software configuration control, change management documentation, and validation records
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps
- Experience using Git and/or Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC)
- Experience creating or supporting automated build and release pipelines
- Experience supporting enterprise account management tools, hosted websites, and related enterprise applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy, DoD, or other Federal Government customers
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD best practices
- Familiarity with enterprise web hosting, IIS, and Microsoft server technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
