Job Summary
Manage server and storage capacity for critical systems while performing performance tuning and monitoring system files. Implement and deploy software affecting mission-critical networks, organize data storage, and coordinate modifications to database systems. Install hardware and software, conduct diagnostics to resolve problems, and provide technical support for object definitions and user inquiries. Plan capacity requirements, test system installations, and establish security measures ensuring data integrity and backup protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly
- Bachelor's degree preferred, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill
- No degree + seven (7) years relevant experience
- Associate's degree + five (5) years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree + three (3) years of relevant experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience specific to the skill
- Experience with Oracle
- Knowledge of Oracle Administration, Oracle system maintenance on Windows environment
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with poly with most recent BI/Polygraph dates within the last five years
- Past experience with older versions of Oracle, especially Oracle 11g Advanced Replication experience
- Experience with Backup Exec in a virtual environment
