Database Administrator

Coordinate changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases. Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience minimum of 5 years in Oracle Administration and analysis in medium to large Oracle systems installations, plus 3+ years supporting/developing Data Warehouses. Experience with data extraction tools, OLAP query tools, DB design/administration, Unix/Linux, Windows 2000, Oracle, and COGNOS is required, with certification a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills, time management, and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
