Job Summary
DBA responsible for leadership and operational oversight of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases; ensure alignment with SLAs, PCI and POPI; manage security patches and upgrades, backups, DR concepts, and performance tuning; oversee access control, monitoring, and maintenance schedules; engage with project managers, risk/compliance, vendors, and internal teams to deliver healthy, available databases and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in database management in a large organization.
- Minimum 5-15 years actively supporting/maintaining an enterprise database infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT/Computer Science is recommended.
