Job Summary
Data Warehouse Engineer to design, build, and evolve the group’s data warehouse solution for multiple teams (Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Data Science, Research). Role involves maintaining data warehouse, tackling tasks individually and with others, and implementing data processing with Spark/Databricks, ETL workflows (dbt, Airflow), and CDC tooling. Collaboration with DBAs, operations engineers, data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders; data sources span cloud and on-prem environments. Hybrid work model in Gothenburg with two days remote work and occasional remote location options. Knowledge of star/snowflake schemas, incremental loads, slowly changing dimensions, data quality, and performance optimizations (partitioning, indexing, caching) is desirable. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a data engineer
- Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Experience with Spark, Dremio/Trino, Databricks
- Experience with ETL tools (dbt, Airflow) and CDC tools (Debezium, Flink CDC, Kafka Connect)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, SQL)
- Comfortable with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with data lakehouse formats like Iceberg or Delta Lake
