Job Summary

Data Warehouse Developer - Join TWIA/TFPA to design scalable data warehouse architectures and BI solutions. Lead end-to-end data architecture, ETL development, and data governance initiatives across a Property & Casualty insurance context. Collaborate with clients, technical staff, and stakeholders to implement robust data models, metadata, and data quality practices; drive enterprise data management standards; contribute to SDLC/Agile projects; and support data-driven decision making with tools like SAP Data Services, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS, QlikView, Tableau. Requires a four-year degree and 7-12 years of relevant BI/ data warehousing experience, strong communication, and mentoring capabilities. Prefers experience with Guidewire data management and P&C domain knowledge. This role is fully remote with no relocation required and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree, preferably in CS, engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 7-12 years of directly relevant experience in Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence
  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in building ETL, reporting, and Data Visualization solutions using tools (e.g. SAP Data Services, Informatica, Data Stage, Microsoft SSIS, QlikView, Tableau)
  • 1-5 years of work experience in Guidewire Data Management tools
  • Experience in building conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling; dimensional modeling preferred
  • Significant experience in software development processes and best practices
  • Understanding of business operations - preferably property and casualty insurance
  • Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and business users
  • Experience working both as an individual contributor and as part of a team
  • Experience in providing guidance to junior developers, QA, and business analysts
  • Attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and drive for results
