Data Warehouse Developer

Job Summary

Design and maintain the enterprise data warehouse architecture, including dimensional data models and ETL/ELT pipelines, to support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. Develop fact tables, dimension tables, and surrogate keys using industry best practices while optimizing SQL queries and indexing strategies for efficient data retrieval. Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, automate data integration jobs, and ensure data accuracy through validation checks and reconciliation processes. Document architecture and governance processes to support long-term maintainability. This hybrid role requires Monday through Friday hours from 8:00am until 5:00pm and is open to remote candidates in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 3+-7+ years of experience in data warehouse development
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other enterprise relational databases
  • Experience developing ETL pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or comparable ETL tools
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing dimensional data models
  • Strong experience designing fact tables, dimension tables, surrogate keys, and slowly changing dimensions (SCD)
  • Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex data transformations
  • Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements
  • Working knowledge of federal / state fraud and abuse laws required
  • Valid driver's license with excellent driving record required
  • Strong SQL programming and database development skills
  • Experience with data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration best practices
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in team environments
  • Ability to design scalable, maintainable data solutions that support enterprise analytics
  • Currently only hiring for remote positions in the following states: Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire
  • Travel to remote sites as needed
  • Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm
