Job Summary
The Data Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing projects involving the design, installation, and management of structured cabling networks in various settings. This position demands strict adherence to safety standards, proficiency in network configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, at least three years of industry experience, and certification, preferably BICSI. The role involves managing work orders and documenting project lifecycles, often requiring travel across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in the industry
- Strong client / people relationship skills
- At least one year of experience in a related role
- Phone, mobile application & PC proficiency required
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Meet company standards for pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Must have industry-standard hand tools
Desired Qualifications
- BISCI or other industry certifications
Additional Requirements
- Safety Sensitive Position: subject to drug and alcohol testing
- Must have the ability to travel extensively with little notice
