Job Summary
Lead technical teams on small- and large-scale projects by installing cabling, surveying sites for best practices, and coordinating workflows. Develop project plans detailing materials, deliver schedules, and manpower needs while tracking tools to prevent loss. Serve as a liaison between office and field, communicating non-confidential information with clients and other trades. Adhere to safety protocols, maintain housekeeping, and provide on-the-job training to technicians. Read architectural, AV, electrical, and telecommunications drawings to monitor schedules and milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in construction related software (Plan Grid, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Knowing and willingness to push back on other trades in an effective and professional level
- Ability to resolve conflict both internal and external
- Ability to create a team atmosphere
- Complete understanding of blueprints and related architectural symbols
- High level of understanding of firestopping principles as it pertains to telecom pathways
- Familiarity with MS office suite and other software suites applicable to the role including but not limited to: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Bluebeam
- All T1/T2/T3 requirements
- Aerial lift certification
- Fall protection certification/training
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to drive to project sites
