Job Summary
Install and certify structured cabling networks (fiber and UTP copper) to BICSI standards in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities include designing, installing, dressing, terminating, and labeling cabling; configuring networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues; verifying and documenting cabling tests and ensuring accuracy of records. Experience with MAC (Move, Add, Change) projects, managing field resources, logging time and expenses, and maintaining assets and vehicles. Ability to travel across the United States for extended periods, with flexible shifts and a strong safety mindset. Requires reading and understanding installation prints/schematics, proficiency with phones/computers, and possession of basic hand tools; includes safety-sensitive duties and pre-employment drug screening. Required Qualifications
- Must have at least one year of experience and aptitude for technology and working with hands
- Three years industry experience strongly preferred
- BISCI or other industry certifications strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
- Must be able to travel extensively within the United States for several weeks at a time
- Safety-sensitive position with drug and alcohol testing requirements
