Job Summary
Data Technician responsible for establishing and maintaining databases, preparing statistical reports, and providing clerical support for the department. Performs database maintenance, ensures data integrity, prepares data for presentation/publication, and responds to ad-hoc reporting requests. Roles include audit of patient charges, technical assistance to department management, training personnel, and handling routine clerical duties. Requires MS Office proficiency, data-management experience, and ability to generate technical and statistical reports; supports data-related communications and presentation materials within Corewell Health, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., in Southfield, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of relevant data management experience
- 2 years of relevant data management experience
- Two years’ experience in office coordination/secretarial support
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access) including formulas, data merge, charts/graphs, and document preparation
