Job Summary
Maintain and improve operational data systems enabling safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards, reports, and automated data pipelines used by operations, engineering, and leadership to ensure production data is accurate and readily available. Support deep-dive data analysis and visualization for investigations, process improvement initiatives, and daily factory operations. Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, software, and maintenance teams to translate operational needs into scalable data solutions. Monitor system performance to identify opportunities for improved reliability, automation, and user experience. Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data structures, and standard operating procedures. This full-time onsite role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV, supporting the Operations Sustaining team as the company scales high-volume battery production.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
- Experience working with manufacturing data, industrial systems, or production environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex operational problems using data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for making factory operations more efficient through technology and data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar platforms
- Experience working with MES, ERP, SCADA, historians, or other manufacturing information systems
- Basic proficiency in SQL and relational databases, and Python or similar scripting languages
