Job Summary
Data Systems & Integration Engineer needed to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure supporting data-driven initiatives, including traditional dataflows and AI integrations. Responsibilities include end-to-end data pipeline development, robust ETL, data modeling, API integrations, data infrastructure management, and governance. Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, document technical designs, and ensure security and regulatory compliance. Requires experience in data engineering, programming (Python/Java/Scala), SQL, ETL, big data technologies, and cloud platforms; familiarity with BI tools and agency experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data engineering, software development, or related roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, etc.).
- Experience with SQL and data analytics software (SQL, SAS, R, etc.).
- Design, diagnose, and deploy statistical models using R, SAS, or Stata.
- Strong knowledge of database systems, data modeling techniques, and SQL proficiency.
- ETL tools experience (e.g., SSIS, Databricks, etc.).
- Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- BI tools proficiency (NinjaCat, Data Studio) preferred.
- Agency experience preferred.
