Job Summary
Data & Systems Analyst role focused on leading data analytics initiatives and managing data pipelines to support business operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and developing business systems using Visual Studio and C#, building and automating data pipelines with Azure Databricks (PySpark) and Databricks SQL, querying and optimizing Azure SQL and Oracle SQL, and creating enterprise reports with Power BI and Crystal Reports. The role also involves intelligent data extraction and automation using Azure Document Intelligence and Python, collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into secure data solutions, ensuring data quality and thorough documentation, and delivering actionable insights across hybrid, Canada-based operations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 4–7+ years of blended data analytics, software development, and data engineering experience, plus hands-on experience with the listed tech stack and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 4–7+ years of blended experience spanning data analytics, software development, and data engineering (Senior – P03 level)
- Strong proficiency in MS Visual Studio, C# with experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core (9.0+)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (PySpark / Databricks SQL) and Python
- Advanced SQL skills with Azure SQL (SSMS) and Oracle SQL (Oracle SQL Developer)
- Experience with Power BI and Crystal Reports
- Familiarity with Azure Document Intelligence and Power Automate
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data structures, and database performance tuning
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and troubleshoot complex system-level bugs
