Job Summary
Data Strategy & Enablement Associate role in JPMorgan Chase's APAC CDAO, focusing on making data accessible, high-quality, and actionable to support cross-functional data initiatives, governance, and regulatory engagements across APAC markets. Responsibilities include executing the APAC data strategy and enablement roadmap, collaborating with business stakeholders to prioritize use cases, managing data initiatives from concept to deployment and adoption, preparing project plans with milestones and success metrics, bridging technical and non-technical audiences, building relationships with APAC leadership and corporate functions, and contributing to industry forums as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 5+ years of data strategy/enablement experience (preferably in financial services), familiarity with data governance, cross-functional collaboration, ability to operate in ambiguous environments, knowledge of APAC regulatory landscape, strong communication, and an analytical mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience supporting data strategy, data enablement, or related roles, preferably within financial services or a regulated sector
- Experience assisting with data initiatives, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation to ensure data quality and enable data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, processes, and regulatory requirements
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in ambiguous and complex environments and make informed decisions
- Understanding of APAC regulatory landscape and nuances
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Analytical thinker with a track record of supporting innovative solutions
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in APAC
- Prior experience working with or supporting globally distributed technical teams
