Job Summary
Lead data governance assessments and maturity evaluations to define enterprise operating models, policies, and standards aligned with business and regulatory objectives. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to develop roadmaps, design stewardship frameworks, and implement the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including cataloging, lineage, quality integrations, and workflow configurations. Partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams to establish metadata practices, monitor data quality metrics, and drive adoption across business units. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, presenting strategies to steering committees while mentoring junior consultants within an Agile, hybrid delivery environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Strategy
- 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Collibra
- Strong understanding of Data Governance Frameworks
- Strong understanding of Metadata Management
- Strong understanding of Data Cataloging
- Strong understanding of Data Lineage
- Strong understanding of Data Quality Management
- Strong understanding of Data Stewardship
- Strong understanding of Data Privacy & Compliance
- Experience working in large enterprise data transformation programs
- Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Hybrid and client-facing environment with collaboration across India and global teams
- Agile delivery approach with iterative releases and continuous stakeholder engagement
- Strong focus on knowledge sharing, mentorship, and development of junior consultants
- Commitment to delivering business value through data governance, data quality, and data intelligence initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in other MDM/Data Governance Tools: Alation, Datahub, Informatica
- Data strategy experience with creating End to End data flows
