Data Steward

Collaborate with data governance stakeholders to establish and maintain data management standards for the Data Platform. Analyze data documentation to identify and define Critical Data Elements, support the creation of data retention, compliance, and security policies, and manage data quality issues. Assist business users with data inquiries, help evaluate and implement data governance tools, and build metadata repositories, business glossaries, and training materials. Drive continuous improvements in data governance processes, ensure data security and compliance, and work with data owners to define key performance indicators. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management. Proficiency in SQL and data governance tools is required, along with a strong understanding of industry standards, MDM technology, and process improvement. The base salary band is $80,000 - $90,000, with additional compensation elements including a performance bonus and retirement plan.
