Job Summary
Data Steward II in Regulatory Reporting responsible for data governance leadership within the Data & Analytics line of business, overseeing data stewardship activities, metadata, data quality, and data risk management in alignment with enterprise data policies. Leads cross-functional programs, partners with technology and SMEs to implement the LOB data strategy, designs and maintains LOB-specific processes, and provides training and guidance to data governance communities. Demonstrates sophisticated analytical thinking, stakeholder influence at senior levels, and the ability to manage end-to-end data governance programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of data governance/data management practices
- Advanced knowledge of M&A due diligence process, LOB data strategy, data risk management, and data life cycle management
- Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
