Job Summary
Harbor seeks a Data Specialist in Toledo to accurately enter and monitor client and treatment information in Harbor's database, review and correct batch errors before billing, run reports, complete clinical transactions, enter diagnosis documents, and perform computer scoring of psychological tests (MMPI and CPI). The role serves as a data resource for clinical and support staff, maintains data filing/storage, and stays current with trends in essential competencies. Contingent position located at Park Avenue and Ohio Means Jobs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business or closely related field or substitute four years experience in data interpretation, retrieval, entry and report writing from a database
- Experience working in a networked environment with troubleshooting skills
- Must be a team player, learn protocols quickly and be competent to train others
- Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication
- Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and show proof of personal auto insurance policy to be deemed insurable with Harbor’s vehicle insurance carrier
- Selected education/training in computer science and experience in a healthcare/behavioral healthcare setting preferred
