Job Summary
Lead engineering, development, and delivery of enterprise data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, including scalable pipelines, semantic models, and platform capabilities aligned with Medallion Architecture and Data Mesh principles. Engineer, optimize, and troubleshoot ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Fabric Data Factory, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, and APIs while implementing monitoring, observability, and data quality controls. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into engineered solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and champion engineering excellence through automation, code quality, and performance optimization. Contribute directly to sprint commitments, participate in technical reviews, and mentor engineers through code reviews and collaborative development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in data engineering or architecture
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role with proven hands-on delivery experience
- Microsoft Fabric (Medallion Architecture, Data Mesh)
- Fabric Data Factory & Azure Data Factory
- Fivetran
- Azure Data Services
- MSSQL, Oracle & Oracle SQL Developer
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise-scale Fabric implementations
- Knowledge of data governance and lifecycle management
- Experience in construction or project-based industries
