Job Summary
Lead data security, privacy, and governance initiatives across the enterprise for Minor Hotels Australasia. Develop and enhance governance frameworks covering data ownership, classification, lifecycle management, and protection; establish policies and procedures for governance, privacy, and information protection; ensure regulatory compliance (including APPs, GDPR) and manage third-party data governance. Translate regulatory requirements into practical governance processes, drive improvements in data quality and governance maturity, and provide strategic reporting to senior leadership. Collaborate with IT, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to enable secure, compliant data use while supporting operational excellence. Regular travel between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast offices is required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Information Management, Cyber Security, Data Governance, Risk Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
