Data Scientist (w/m/d) - AI & Automation

Job Summary
Develop and implement AI and analytics solutions for controlling and finance, including building dashboards, reports, and self-service analyses with Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud. Construct forecasting, budgeting, and scenario models to support business steering while automating recurring financial processes using Python, SQL, or Power Automate. Leverage generative AI tools to streamline finance operations, analyze large datasets for trends and risks, and refine KPI systems and management reports. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, data engineering, and IT to integrate new data sources and ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics Informatics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
- Experience in Controlling, Finance Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Very good SQL skills
- Proficiency with at least one programming language, such as Python or R
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud or comparable solutions
- Knowledge of modern AI technologies and Machine Learning methods
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Ability to work independently
- Solution-oriented approach
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW or Oracle
- Experience with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Azure OpenAI
