Job Summary
As a Data Scientist at Shift Technology, you'll play a crucial role in deploying solutions for clients and enhancing fraud detection algorithms. Key responsibilities include building and implementing data processing pipelines, improving solutions through close collaboration with clients, and participating in product development with a focus on machine learning and innovation. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field, experience in programming and SQL, and fluency in both Japanese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Experience in object-oriented programming, preferably in C#, and SQL
- Ability to write quality production code
- Fluent in Business Japanese and Business English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Python, Git, Cloud, Machine Learning
- Experience with external client-facing and pre-sales/demo
- Knowledge in Insurance industry
