Data Scientist Senior

Job Summary
Design and lead predictive modeling projects to solve complex business problems, performing substantive statistical analyses to improve competitiveness and profitability. Develop and implement prediction models for member and provider interventions while conducting competitive analysis of risk stratification models. Execute care management program evaluations and provide technical advice to staff, responding to ad hoc client requests for accurate data delivery. Present research findings to management, compile study results for journal publication, and develop advanced visualizations for business users. Process massive data streams in distributed computing environments and recommend batch and real-time model scoring to drive actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Physics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field of study
- Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s)
- Three (3) years of experience with Python, R, SAS, or SAS Enterprise Miner
- Two (2) years of experience using Git, Confluence, and Bitbucket as a version control repository
- One (1) year of development experience with at least one of the following visualization tools: PowerBI, MicroStrategy or Tableau
- One (1) year of experience collaborating with business partners to determine identified population segments and developing actionable plans to enable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost and other variables
- One (1) year of experience with software development best practices, planning, code version management, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Must be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 220 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204
- This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week
- Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s)
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Foreign national applicants must meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza
