Job Summary
Collaborate with Business Banking senior stakeholders to identify key challenges and develop data-driven solutions using Python, SQL, and statistical methods. Support project phases from requirements gathering to delivering insights for senior leaders and external investors while maintaining data integrity and security. Apply advanced techniques including predictive modeling, time series forecasting, and text mining to inform strategic decision-making across the business. Engage stakeholders bi-weekly to ensure alignment and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Bachelor's / Graduate degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, etc.)
- 4+ years of experience producing advanced analytics work with an emphasis in optimization
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in SQL
- hands-on experience using statistical software packages and data tools, including Snowflake and Databricks
- Demonstrated command of advanced statistical methods and concepts, including predictive modeling, time series forecasting, and text mining
- Experience with data mining and visualization, including Tableau
- Effective storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into digestible insights for audiences across levels; able to influence stakeholders, articulate value hypotheses, and secure sponsorship
- Commitment to iterative development, including a proven ability to engage and update stakeholders bi-weekly (or as needed) to ensure alignment, incorporate feedback, and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders
