Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop next-generation Security Analytics products. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying Machine Learning models, collaborating with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders, and leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for business impact. The ideal candidate should have expertise in machine learning, specifically in NLP/GenAI, and experience with programming in Python and/or Java. Responsibilities include creating data visualizations, deploying ML models in production, and ensuring model performance through monitoring frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Machine Learning projects, including model development, deployment, and optimization.
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms, their mathematical foundations, and real-world trade-offs.
- Expertise in NLP techniques like Named Entity Recognition, Information Retrieval, Text classification, Text-to-Text Generation etc.
- Familiarity and working experience of GenAI applications, Experience with prompting, fine-tuning and optimizing LLMs.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, vLLM etc.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Experience in SQL, Pandas, and PySpark for efficient data manipulation.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, CI/CD, MLOps best practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; a collaborative team player.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and OpenSearch.
- Published research in AI/ML in peer-reviewed journals or top conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).
- Prior experience applying AI/ML to cybersecurity use cases.
- Basic proficiency in Unix/Linux environments for scripting and automation.
