Job Summary
Be part of PwC's FCU Technology Data Science team to manage data lifecycle from research to deployment, collaborating across departments to tackle FinCrime challenges. Develop prototypes or proofs of concept using Data Science methods, create automation solutions based on AI agents and Generative AI, contribute to data science product development from technical and sales perspectives, mentor junior team members, participate in training and conferences, and work in an Agile environment with backend/frontend/DevOps colleagues. They emphasize hybrid work flexibility and opportunities for upskilling, certifications, and a broad wellbeing program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data science or research & development
- University degree (preferred in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or Computer Science)
- Proficient knowledge in Python programming language
- Familiarity with key Data Science and Machine Learning packages (pandas, polars, scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, LightGBM)
- Knowledge of Generative AI concepts (e.g. prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents)
- Excellent written & spoken English
- Creative and critical thinking skills
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about multiple business processes and disciplines
