Job Summary
Data Scientist role focusing on applying computer vision and ML/DL to AOI automatic optical inspection and process optimization. Lead and collaborate with internal partners to design, develop, and deploy AI algorithms across the data pipeline—from raw data to functional solutions—covering data collection, storage, processing, and iterative improvements. Build architectures for AI/ML to ensure data quality, enable self-learning patterns, and automate operational processes. Work with IT/product experts to define data workflows, coordinate AI-related work packages in manufacturing, and support production with data mining projects. Key skills include Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch; deep learning and image processing techniques, CNN/RNN/LSTM/Transformer models, and object detection (SSD/YOLO/Faster-RCNN); familiarity with OpenCV and modern CV literature, plus data labeling and data management tooling. The role requires a Master-level education in related fields and 3+ years of practical experience in real projects.
Required Qualifications
- Master in computer vision, image processing, machine learning, deep learning
- More than 3 years working experience in real projects
- Excellent at Python, familiar with TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Familiar with classic image processing and machine learning algorithms (edge detection, feature extraction)
- Familiar with deep learning models (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer) and related architectures (AlexNet/VGG/ResNet)
- Familiar with object detection frameworks (SSD, YOLO, Faster-RCNN)
- Familiar with data labeling, data management tools
- Willingness to take on challenges and solve problems systematically
