Data Scientist (Process Intelligence / Celonis)

Job Summary
Analyze and optimize core business processes to uncover inefficiencies and automation potential using Celonis and related process mining tools. Gather, cleanse, and prepare event log data from multiple source systems while building compelling visualizations and dashboards. Collaborate closely with clients to design, implement, and roll out process improvements across supply chain, logistics, and finance sectors. Conduct workshops and training sessions to communicate insights and share best practices, gaining exposure across manufacturing, tech, and retail industries. This role requires a degree in Computer Science or Data Science, strong Python and SQL skills, and fluency in German and English. Flexible hybrid work options are available from Munich or Prague.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a comparable field
- Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to solving complex problems
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Fluent in German and English (C1 level)
- Entrepreneurial, curious, and agile mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally first experience with process consulting or process mining tools (Celonis, Signavio, UiPath, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business value
