Job Summary
Design and develop datasets to support systematic trading strategies; build and maintain robust data pipelines covering sourcing, transformation, and delivery; extract, clean, and aggregate data from structured and unstructured sources; collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders and with engineering teams to automate and optimize data extraction and processing; investigate and resolve data-related issues to reduce time to production; evaluate new approaches for data extraction and onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar data-focused role
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline
- Advanced Python programming skills with Pandas and Polars
- Proven experience building and managing end-to-end data pipelines
- Experience with traditional and alternative datasets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across research, trading, and engineering teams
