Job Summary
Data Scientist - Network Strategy responsible for applying advanced analytics on large datasets to derive business insights, support data science initiatives to drive profitability and customer experience, and develop reusable algorithms. Role emphasizes designing and developing models/algorithms, leading analytics projects, communicating results to diverse stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building codified data products with thorough documentation. Key skills include Python, SQL/BigQuery, data visualization (Tableau), statistical methods, optimization/ML domains (e.g., NLP, computer vision, recommendations), and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Math, Statistics) or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
- Experience in scripting languages (preferably Python)
- Experience with SQL/BigQuery
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau)
- Proficiency in applying statistical techniques to identify key insights
- Knowledge ofPrescriptive Modeling areas such as optimization, computer vision, recommendation, search or NLP
- Ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
