Job Summary
Conduct intermediate data analysis to uncover patterns and correlations supporting business decisions through data mining, auditing, and reconciliation. Develop complex analytical tools and predictive systems to solve high-value problems while creating visual dashboards and reports for management. Collaborate with stakeholders and technology partners to operationalize actionable insights across core business areas and optimize operations. Identify pertinent data to address business needs and perform research on industry practices. Establish and maintain data management practices for analytics use cases. Must reside within a 45-minute drive of the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, economics, data science, computer science or related technical field
- Two years of relevant work experience
- Five years of relevant work experience
- Eight years of experience
- Experience with analytics packages, such as SAS, R, SPSS
- Proficient and able to direct the use of analytics packages, such as SAS, R, SPSS
- Understands database concepts and is able to provide clear direction to staff assigned to manage data for analytics use cases
- Established leader working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must establish and maintain a permanent residence within a 45-minute safe drive time to the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant
