Job Summary
Analyze complex clinical and operational data to identify dependencies, patterns, outliers, and inaccuracies. Apply statistics, machine learning, and advanced mathematics to recognize opportunities, pose business questions, and generate hypotheses for testing. Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms to extract optimal value, while contributing to the design of metrics for physician performance, facility bottlenecks, and processing delays. Create reports and dashboards using Tableau and leverage Python, SQL, and numerical optimization algorithms to solve problems across the entire data-driven problem-solving cycle. This per diem remote role supports Mass General Brigham's mission to advance patient care, research, and community service through data-driven solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study
- Experience working in data science-type positions and with large data sets
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree Related Field of Study
- Ability to create reports and dashboards with Tableau
- Skilled in data analysis with Python and SQL
- Knowledge of statistics
- Knowledge of machine learning
- Preferred SQL database management and administrative knowledge
- Practiced knowledge of numerical optimization algorithms
