Job Summary
Data Scientist Lead role supporting national security objectives for the Intelligence Community, driving data analytics and process automation on large datasets. Leads and oversees ongoing projects, serving as liaison between project management, project team, and line management; reviews status, budgets, schedules, and reports. Applies multiple programming languages (Python, R, Ruby) to analytics, develops and reviews advanced analytic projects, and participates in peer review to enforce best practices. Requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, a BS/BA with 12+ years of experience (including supervisory/management) and strong cross-silo collaboration, communication with executive partners, and ability to lead teams through hiring and onboarding and to adapt to dynamic, high-tempo environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active, current TS/SCI with polygraph
- Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with BS/BA
- 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
- Proven data science background with experience using multiple programming languages such as Python, R, and Ruby
- Ability to maintain superior customer service and effectively manage project completion
- Demonstrated experience successfully working across organizational silos to support whole-of-government activities
- Ability to confidently engage partners in a professional, collaborative manner
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
