Job Summary
Own the full project lifecycle for casualty and absence management data mining and predictive modeling engagements, from definition and planning through execution and completion. Identify relationships across data sources using descriptive approaches, trending, visualization, and advanced causal analysis to drive insights into behaviors and outcomes. Interpret results, present findings to clients, and develop solutions for preventing or mitigating future exposures in conjunction with product line teams. Requires 7-10 years of data science experience, with a preference for 1-3 years in consulting and the casualty or absence management industry. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or related field; Masters or advanced certificate in data analytics preferred.

- Significant knowledge of statistics and data mining methods such as, but not limited to, various forms of regression analysis and decision tree techniques
- Familiarity with visualizations tools such a Qlik or Tableau
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Highly developed communication skills covering report development, presentation, and meeting management
- Project management
- Organized and collaborative
- Self-starter that works well alone as well as in a group
