Job Summary
Lead data investigations and own solutions for internal and external clients by extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to provide feasibility reviews and detailed analysis. Perform analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to answer questions about content, serving as the key go-to person for client insights across digital, mobile, OTT, and TV product areas. Collaborate with Sr. Data Analysts, Managers, Leads, and client-facing teams to execute requested analysis on-time and on-budget, while taking full responsibility for analytic research. Formulate technical paths that address open-ended client problems and assist in automating custom work. Translate SQL queries into shell scripts for automation and utilize cloud-based technologies to enhance productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in data science, mathematics, science, engineering, or related field
- 2-4+ years of related experience
- Experience working with big data
- Solution oriented mindset
- Proficient with database query tools (SQL, Python, JSON, etc.)
- Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
- Ability to translate SQL queries into shell scripts for use in automation & execution
- Ability to partner and collaborate across multiple teams
- Ability to research new tools and methods to improve functionality and enhance productivity including AI tools
- Willingness to seek and provide constructive feedback
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS and cloud based technologies is a plus
- Experience in the Media Measurement space is a plus
