Job Summary
Data Scientist to drive financial and operational performance for hospital systems by analyzing funding models, health fund contracts, and revenue streams; develop analytics solutions and BI dashboards (Power BI); partner with data engineering and business stakeholders to deploy production-ready analytics; apply statistical, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to improve commercial outcomes and operational forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- tertiary qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative discipline
- strong SQL skills
- experience with Power BI and advanced Excel
- Python experience considered an advantage
- ability to build and deploy analytics solutions into production
- experience with healthcare data and revenue/contract analytics
- ability to communicate insights to business stakeholders
