Job Summary
Lead custom data management and advanced system operations, focusing on process improvement, maintenance, and alignment of GEOINT dissemination systems to emerging NGA standards. Serve as the technical POC for services requiring specialized expertise in geospatial data analysis, automation, and system administration. Develop automation strategies to streamline data handling, integrity, and distribution processes. Design and deploy custom automation tools to facilitate rapid, secure data transfer while minimizing manual intervention. Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance geospatial analysis capabilities and improve accuracy in data extraction. Maintain legacy Python codebases, integrate new security requirements, and develop API-based integration solutions for data exchange between NGA and partner systems. Collaborate with GEOINT content teams to integrate automated quality checks ensuring the highest standards of data integrity. Requires TS/SCI clearance, 18 years of experience, and expert proficiency in Python and geospatial libraries.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen with a TS/SCI Clearance and ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
- 18 years of combined experience in the field with a Bachelor's in a relevant field of study
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and other object-oriented programming languages
- Demonstrated experience with relevant Python libraries including Pandas and Geopandas
- Advanced experience using Python to automate complex workflows and integrate with cloud services
- Proven experience with relational databases and web development tools, including API integration
- Extensive experience in database administration and cloud-based data management
- Deep knowledge of GEOINT products, data formats, and satellite imagery systems
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizations
- Extensive experience developing and implementing process improvements
- Experience using AI/ML for feature extraction, data enrichment, and predictive analytics
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field of study
- Certifications in Python and other programming languages
- Experience implementing machine learning solutions
- Advanced experience with geospatial analysis and data manipulation
- Deep understanding of NGA systems including Custom Media Services, NSG Consolidated Library, and Gateway
- Practical experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems, particularly RedHat Linux
- Understanding of NGA's mission partners and Intelligence Community requirements
