Job Summary
Data Scientist to join Cobblestone Energy's Commercial team in Dubai. Responsibilities include analyzing large complex datasets to generate actionable insights for trading and commercial decisions, developing and deploying predictive models (time-series, regression, tree-based methods), architecting production-ready AI/LLM solutions (RAG pipelines, agents) integrated into analytical workflows via APIs and LangChain/LlamaIndex, building end-to-end data workflows with Python, SQL, Airflow and tools like pandas, and collaborating with traders to translate business problems into data-driven solutions. The role emphasizes independent decision-making, ownership of projects, and contribution to equity participation. Requires 2-3 years of data science experience, strong academic background, proficiency in Python, practical experience with LLM integration, automated data pipelines, knowledge of ML algorithms and visualization tools, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in data science or related field
- Strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- Expertise in Python programming
