Job Summary
Data Scientist responsible for implementing quantitative and predictive models, conducting data science experiments using Python (Jupyter Notebooks), generating data-driven visualizations, and delivering insights to senior stakeholders. Must develop and curate data with appropriate transformation techniques, apply machine learning algorithms and predictive models to business challenges, design experiments to validate hypotheses, and collaborate with teams to advance best practices in data science. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with three years of data experience; strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with SAS or R preferred; hybrid work arrangement in Okemos, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
- Three years of experience working extensively with data
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Proficiency with statistical software packages like SAS, R, or equivalent (preferred)
