Job Summary
Data Scientist / Data Analyst to support a U.S. Government Agency in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include advanced data science, analytics, statistical testing, dashboard development, investigative analytics, fraud-risk detection, and data governance across multiple sources; develop reusable analytical scripts, templates, and dashboards; perform entity resolution, timeline analysis, link analysis, and production of analysis-ready datasets; apply descriptive and inferential statistics, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, forecasting, and risk scoring; deliver analysis outputs and documentation suitable for audit workpapers and reports; provide knowledge transfer and training to government personnel; must possess a bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience, be a U.S. citizen, and be able to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, accounting, finance, economics, operations research, business analytics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of specialized professional experience performing complex analytical work in support of data analytics, audit analytics, investigative analytics, fraud detection, forensic financial analysis, compliance review, or other closely related mission functions.
- U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
