Job Summary
Develop, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models for business-critical forecasting and analytics initiatives. Design P&L forecasting models, perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model optimization using Python and SQL. Work with large datasets in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and implement Generative AI use cases with Vertex AI. Communicate insights and model outcomes clearly to cross-functional stakeholders while working independently in a client-facing setup. Requires 4–8 years of experience in data science and machine learning, with expertise in statistics, Python, SQL, and GCP. Full-time conversion available based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
- Strong foundation in statistics and ML modelling techniques
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven experience in P&L forecasting or financial modelling
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in Australia shift timings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) use cases
- Familiarity with Vertex AI
