Job Summary
Coordinate with stakeholders to understand key data sources supporting aircraft maintenance, manpower, and readiness initiatives. Analyze multi-source data to identify trends and opportunities informing leadership decisions, while enhancing existing dashboards and developing new visualizations. Partner with force development leadership and action officers to deliver innovative data storytelling approaches, translating complex findings into clear briefings for technical and non-technical audiences. Support data preparation, mining, and exploratory analysis using BI and analytical tools, contributing to predictive and prescriptive analytics efforts. Engage professionally with senior leaders in a fast-paced military setting. Requires active Secret clearance, experience with Python, R, or SQL, and ability to co-locate on client site 2-3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with at least one or more analytical/programming tools such as Python, R, or SQL
- Strong data visualization and data storytelling skills
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine analytical questions, and deliver actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting regularly with senior leaders in a military or similarly structured environment
- Ability to co-locate on client site 2-3 days per week
- Bachelors
Desired Qualifications
- Department of Defense experience
- Experience with Palantir Foundry for data manipulation, aggregation, engineering, dashboarding and report
- Familiarity with military rank structure and organization, including USAF and USMC
- Knowledge of advanced mathematics and statistics, with the ability to apply programming to combine data from multiple sources and support predictive or prescriptive modeling
- Experience operating in a government, defense, or highly regulated environment
