Job Summary
Analyze complex structured and unstructured data sets to solve global challenges across private and public sectors, ranging from fraud detection to national intelligence. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific questions and needs, then dig into data-rich environments to identify key information pieces. Develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualizations using frameworks like Pandas, Spark, and scikit-learn to turn disparate data points into objective answers. Deploy natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques to help clients make informed decisions. Work with teammates to create algorithms and systems that provide a deep understanding of data meaning and utility. Requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph; salary ranges from $62,000 to $141,000.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with common scripting languages such as Python or R
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Pandas, Polars, or Spark
- Knowledge of statistical or machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, pytorch, tensorflow, or R
- Knowledge of structured and unstructured data sources
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing
- Ability to develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
- Ability to deploy natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL
- Experience with distributed data or computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
- Experience working with LLMs, generative AI systems, or agentic frameworks
- Master's degree
